William P. Ramsey

William P. Ramsey, 76, resident of Mont Vernon, NH, died June 23, 2008 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, Nashua, NH.� He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on September 4, 1931, a son of the late William H. & Thelma (Rempes) Ramsey.� He attended Eaglebrook School in Deerfield, MA.� Mr. Ramsey resided in Mont Vernon, NH for the past 36 years and formerly lived in Hudson, NH for a short time.� He had been employed as an engineer for Sanders Associates, Nashua, NH for 31 years, and retired from Lockheed Martin in 1997.� Mr. Ramsey enjoyed working in his apple orchard, gardening, refinishing furniture and was an avid sports enthusiast.� He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict and in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged in 1966.� Family members include his wife of 41 years, June (Robertson) Ramsey of Mont Vernon, NH; a daughter, Lynne I. Ramsey of Reno, NV; a son, William F. Ramsey of Clifton Park, NY; a sister, Patricia Bailey of Rhode Island; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Frederick & Nancy Robertson of Deerfield, NH, Thomas & Helen Robertson of Concord, MA, Judith Robertson of Herndon, VA; several nieces and nephews.� There are no services.� In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to National Kidney Foundation of MA, RI, NH and Vermont, 85 Astor Avenue, Norwood, MA� 02062 or Humane Society for Greater Nashua, 24 Ferry Road, Nashua, NH� 03064-8109.�
