William P. Maas, Sr.

William P. Maas, Sr., 51, resident of Amherst, NH, died October 12, 2008 at his home.� He was born in Oceanside, LI, NY on January 6, 1957, a son Dorothy (Donner) Maas Dishong of Amherst, NH and the late Ronald E. Maas.� Mr. Maas resided in Amherst for more than 35 years and owned and operated Maas & Son Roofing and Restoration Company.� He was a man of many dreams and passions.� With a strong love of music, he was on a mission to save the world.� He loved everyone he met and gave all that he could give.� He was more than generous and dedicated to his family whom he loved.� He enjoyed his farm and the many animals he had, especially his three joyful companions, his puppies.� Mr. Maas authored a book on potassium titled, "The Book of Life"� In addition to his mother, family members include his wife of 29 years, Diane M. (Roy) Maas of Amherst, NH; a son, William P. Maas, Jr. of Amherst, NH; two daughters, Kimberly A. Maas and Jessica L. Maas, both of Amherst, NH; two grandchildren, Alexis and Stacy; a sister, Adele L. Mogavero of Peterborough, NH; two brothers, Ronald A. Maas of New Boston, NH and Karl R. Maas of Michigan; his stepfather, Paul Dishong of Amherst, NH; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, grand nieces and grand nephews. � Visiting hours are Wednesday, October 15th from 5-8 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH.� Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:00 am in the Milford United Methodist Church, 327�� North River Road, Milford, NH.� Burial will follow in�Riverside Cemetery, Milford.��
