Wilfred E. "Butch" Hudson, 48, resident of Henniker, NH, died June 6, 2008 at the Elliot Hospital, Manchester, NH.� He was born in Nashua, NH on July 16, 1959, a son of Etta (Pike) Stone of Peterborough, NH and the late Edward J. Hudson.� Butch lived in Henniker for several years and previously resided in Milford, NH for most of his life.� He was employed by Precision Drilling & Blasting, Lowell, MA and had formerly worked for Maine Drilling & Blasting.� Butch loved spending time with his family.� His greatest passion was hunting and fishing.� He was a life member of the NRA and a former member of Timberline Sportsmens Club, Lunenburg, MA.� He was predeceased by a sister, Judy M. Tucker, who died in 2004.� In addition to his mother, family members include two sisters, Shirley Curtis of Henniker, NH, Nancy Tawfik of Nashua, NH; two brothers, Bill Melendy of Lempster, NH and Timothy Hudson, U.S. Coast Guard for 20+ years, stationed in Seattle, WA; also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, an aunt and a uncle.� Visiting hours are Monday evening, June 9th from 6-9 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH.� Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 am in the funeral home, followed by cremation.� Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Milford, at a later date.� In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA� 01701.�
