Walter D. Ohlson

Walter D. Ohlson, 79, resident of Amherst, NH, died March 30, 2008 at The Arbors, Bedford, NH.� He was born in Silver Creek, NY on January 29, 1929, a son of the late Martin & Ruth (Rogers) Ohlson.� Mr. Ohlson resided in Amherst for the past 8 years.�He was a former member of the Amherst Board of Adjustment and the Conservation Commission.� He was a U.S. Navy veteran having served during the Korean Conflict.� Family members include his wife of 45 years, Bette A. (Greenwood) Ohlson of Amherst, NH; a daughter and son-in-law, Jill & Glenn Paladino of Claremont, NH; two grandsons, Ryan Hadley and Drew Hadley, both of Manchester, NH; two granddaughters, Angela Paladino of Burlington, VT and Lauren Paladino of Florida; a sister, Betty Waldron of New Jersey; many nieces and nephews.� A graveside service with military honors will be held on Friday, May 16th at 2:00 pm in Meadowview Cemetery, Foundry Street, Amherst, NH.� In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA� 01701 or the Alzheimers Association, One Bedford Farms Drive, Suite 105, Bedford, NH� 03110.�
