Vito P. Zilinski, 92, longtime resident of Milford, NH, died on July 11, 2013 at The Elms Care & Rehabilitation Center, Milford. He was born in Leicester, MA on August 15, 1920, a son of Martin and Julia (Spurskis) Zilinski. Vito had worked at McLeod Brothers and Badger Farms Apple Orchards. He enjoyed woodworking and carving, going to yard sales and flea markets. In addition, Vito was an avid reader and loved to read anything associated with history and science. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served during World War II. Vito was predeceased by a daughter, Dolores Provencher. He is survived by his companion of 50 years, Mae Provencher of Milford; four children, Lucille Canavan, Rex Provencher and Billy Provencher, all of Milford and Arthur Provencher of Wilton, NH; grandchildren, Jackie Rivard, Arthur Hall and Susan Lavarnway; many great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service with military honors will be held on Tuesday, July 16th at 10:00 am in Riverside Cemetery, 454 Nashua Street, Milford, NH.
