Travis C. Sanborn

Travis C. Sanborn (GUSTO), 42, resident of Milford, NH, died on May 6, 2025, at his home after a sudden illness.

He was born on May 12, 1982, in Manchester, NH, a son of Craig Sanborn and Karin (Bunker) Choate.

Travis spent his childhood in Temple, NH. Where he attended grammar school and later continued his education within the ConVal Regional School System. After completion of school Travis moved to Milford, NH. Where he remained until his passing.

He was known for his ability to wire up any sound system. Each vehicle he owned, he equipped with massive speakers and amplifiers. He loved helping his friends with their sound systems as well. We all knew when he was coming, as our homes would rattle. He had the greatest taste in music! Travis was very well versed in wiring and technology, which he must have picked up from disassembling and reassembling electronics when he was a young boy.

He loved to ski and spent a couple of seasons working at McIntyre Ski Area. He worked in the trades for many years as well. He was last employed by Erickson Foundation Solutions, a job he enjoyed and excelled at. Unfortunately, he sustained a work injury and was unable to continue his employment. Travis continued to keep himself busy via eBay reselling and then snowplowing during the winter months.

Travis had the greatest sense of humor. He was incredibly goofy and always had the best witty comebacks. He was somehow both tough and intimidating yet soft and sweet. He was a wonderful man, and he will be terribly missed.

In addition to his parents, Travis is survived by his children, Connor, Caleb, Cohen, Cooper and Emily, his sister, Jennifer Sanborn and two nephews Jordan and Declan.

SERVICES: Calling hours will be held on May 29, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH. Burial will be private.
