Shirley J. Levesque

Shirley J. Levesque, of Mont Vernon New Hampshire, passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 14th, 2026. She was born in Swanzey, New Hampshire on August 15th and was the daughter of Roseanne Andersen Pratt and Ralph Pratt.

Shirley was raised in Milford and graduated from Milford High School in 1955.

Shirley met the love of her life, Charlie Levesque, in high school and they got married May 4th, 1957, where they were happily married for 44 years. She worked at OK Tool and Harland H. Holt Insurance Company.

Shirley was predeceased by her husband Charlie, both of her boys, Daryl and Darren and granddaughter Samantha. With the passing of her son Daryl, Shirley took in her 15-year-old granddaughter, Alicia. She raised her through high school and college and supported her through her journey into veterinary medicine.

Shirley was an avid camera buff, which includes a photo album of every Pratt Family Reunion since 1984. Furthermore, she also has countless photo albums that include almost every outing or event she ever attended. In addition, she celebrated every high school reunion with The Birthday Girls since 1955. This led to a weekly event every Wednesday at Wendy’s for years to come.

She attended her grandnieces' and grandnephews’ sporting events, school activities, and milestones whenever she could. All road games would end at McDonald’s with Peter and Michelle while celebrating with her strawberry milkshake.

Shirley is survived by her granddaughter Alicia and sister-in-law Ellen Pratt. She will be loved and missed by so many.

SERVICES:  Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH.  A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 12:00 PM in the Green Lawn Cemetery, Mont Vernon, NH.  All are invited to meet at the cemetery.
