Sheila Brown, 61, resident of New Boston, NH, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2023, at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, MA. Her courageous spirit and zest for life carried her through years of battling the complications from diabetes. She faced life challenges with a smile and never complained. Despite her suffering, Sheila came out a hero and stayed strong until the end.
As a child, Sheila was very creative and loved the arts. In school she was involved in the drama club where she discovered her gift with words. She pursued her passion in writing with a master’s degree in communication and Librarianship and has made her editorial mark both written and in our hearts and souls.
Sheila was married to Kevin Brown of New Boston. They were married 34 happy years and cared deeply for each other. Watching bears, squirrels, turkeys and deer from their expansive porch was a pastime that brought them much joy, along with their many cats. Stories about their 4-legged friends gave us many chuckles. In sickness and in health, was a commitment they stood firm on when it would have been too much for others. Theirs was a true love.
Sheila is survived by her husband Kevin; sisters Lynn Bruce and Lisa Ziernicki; stepson, Fred; grandson, Gunner Brown; nieces, Abigail and Emily; nephew, Robbie and several aunts and cousins.
