Sharon B. Beckley, 89, resident of Nashua, NH, died on November 29, 2025, after a period of declining health.

She was born on February 10, 1936, in Meriden, CT, a daughter of the late Robert and Ethel (Sadler) Bristol.

Sharon was raised and educated in Meriden. She completed her secondary education at Central Connecticut State University Rivier College.

She met and married Bruce B. Beckley and together made their home for many years in Amherst, NH. She worked for many years as an English as a Second Language teacher for the state of New Hampshire. Bruce and Sharon were caretakers of the Moose Hill Audubon sanctuary in Sharon, Massachusetts. She ran the summer day camp at the sanctuary, introducing hundreds of children to wildlife and the outdoors.

Sharon was very involved at the Amherst NH Congregational Church for over forty years. She was a long-time member of the choir, the bell choir and many social and mission-based committees.

Sharon enjoyed time spent with family and friends on camping trips, bike rides and walks. She and Bruce explored the world from Norway to Central America and throughout the United States. She loved the sun and beaches. At home she spent time in her gardens and on the tennis courts.

Survivors include her children Stuart (wife Susan) of Sunderland, MA, Cindy, of Milford, NH and David (wife Sarah) of Grantham, NH , grandchildren Ian, Daniel, and Kathryn Beckley, and many nieces and nephews, all who loved her profoundly and enjoyed her laughter and warm welcomes. As a Mother, Grandmother, Aunt and friend, Sharon will be deeply missed.
