ROBERT L. POIRIER � DATELINE:�MILFORD, NH � Robert L. Rob Poirier, 58, resident of Milford, NH, died November 29, 2007 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua, NH. � He was born in Attleboro, MA on January 30, 1949, a son of the late J. Edward & Margaret (Clancey) Poirier. � Mr. Poirier lived in Milford for the past 22 years. � He had been employed as a supervisor at Resin Systems in Amherst, NH. � He enjoyed working in his yard, gardening and landscaping.�He was an avid hiker and a member of the Appalachian Mountain Club.�In addition, he traveled extensively throughout the United States visiting many national parks. � Mr. Poirier was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and was awarded the Purple Heart, Bronze Star, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and Combat Infantryman Badge.�He was a member of the Harley Sanford Post #4368 VFW, Milford. � He was predeceased by a sister, Kendra and a brother, Ross. � Family members include his loving longtime companion of 22 years, Linda S. Ruggiero of Milford, NH; children, Rebecca Graham of Manchester, NH and Jason Rychwa of Nashua, NH; 3 brothers, Donald Poirier of Sacremento, CA, Kevin Poirier of North Attleboro, MA and Neil Poirier of Sarasota, FL; 3 Grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. � Memorial visiting hours are Tuesday, December 4th from 6-9 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH.�A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday at 9:00 am in St. Patrick's Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford, NH, followed by a graveside service with military honors at 11:30 am in the NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH.�
