Robert Edwin Kirby, Jr., 52, longtime resident of Milford, New Hampshire, died on June 13, 2025, at his home. He was born August 21, 1972, at Lakeland General Hospital in Lakeland, Florida, the son of Robert Edwin Kirby, Sr. and Karen (Jadwin) Kirby. Rob graduated from Tampa Bay Technical School in Tampa, Florida. He was US Army veteran, having honorably served from 1991 to 1999. Rob worked in retail loss prevention and construction. Most recently, he had been employed by Hutter Construction Corporation in New Ipswich, New Hampshire. Rob was a passionate advocate, volunteer, fundraiser, supporter, and mentor for veterans. He was also an avid motorcycle rider. Rob was also a wonderful cook and loved to entertain for family and friends. 

Rob is survived by his six children Emily (Kirby) DeLeon and her husband Cody, Jacob Kirby, Quinton Kirby, Celeste “Belle” Kirby, Mairead Kirby, and Colin Kirby; four grandchildren including Samuel, Teighlor, and Carter DeLeon. Rob is also survived by his brothers Luther Kirby, David Kirby, and Dale Kirby and their families, his brother Jeff and his wife Katrina Hall and his two sisters Vonda Hall and Bobby Lynn Kirby and their families, and his ex-wife, Erin (Gorman) Kirby. Rob was predeceased by the beloved family dog, Blue. 

Memorial visiting hours will be held on Saturday, June 21st from 1 to 3 PM at the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, New Hampshire. Donations can be made in Rob’s name to Homeland Heroes Foundation at https://homelandheroesfoundation.org.
