Pauline C. Calderara

Pauline C. Calderara passed away peacefully on October 24, 2025. She was born in Milford, MA on February 9, 1925. She was the fifth of eight children born to Joseph Givani and Lena (Barberi) Givani.

Pauline married her husband Joseph A. Calderara from Milford, NH in 1946, after being introduced by a fellow WWII soldier from her hometown. Following their marriage, they moved to Milford, NH and raised their family.

Pauline was a devoted wife and mother. She was a full-time homemaker who created a warm and nurturing home for her family. Her greatest joy and life’s work was her family, a love that only grew as she became a grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother.

Pauline was a devout Catholic and a communicant of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church for many years.

Pauline is survived by her three children: Nancy (Kenny) Garib of Miami, FL, Joseph (Susan) Calderara of Douglasville, GA, and Don Calderara of Milford, NH., as well as three grandchildren, Matthew, Stephen, and Michael, seven great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

She was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 1986, and six siblings.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 30th at 11:00am in St. Elizabeth Seton Parish, 190 Meetinghouse Road, Bedford, NH. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Milford, NH. To share a memory or offer a condolence, please go to www.smith-heald.com
