Paul P. Karavas, 79, longtime resident of Milford, NH, died at his home on Saturday, April 4, 2026, surrounded by his loving family after a period of declining health.
He was born on May 15, 1946, in Manchester, NH, a son of the late Peter and Freda (Diamond) Karavas.
Paul was raised in Dover, NH and finished his high school education at Mount Pleasant High School in Providence RI.
He was drafted into the Army and honorably and faithfully served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Paul worked as an Air Traffic Controller for Boston Center (ZBW/FAA). He enjoyed time spent with his family, as well as working on and riding in cars and on motorcycles. Paul enjoyed spending time and talking with friends, like The Breakfast Club.
In addition to his parents, Paul was predeceased by three siblings, Alexander, Timmy and Esther.
Survivors include his loving wife, Jane Karavas of Milford, NH, his two sons, Tim Karavas and his wife Erin Driscoll-Karavas of Amherst, NH, Eric Karavas of Milford, NH, his four grandchildren, Blake, Paige, Avery and Melina Karavas, two siblings, John Karavas of CA and Dorothea Pickering of NH.
SERVICES: A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 11:00 AM in the Riverside Cemetery, 460 Nashua Street, Milford, NH. A celebration of Paul’s life will follow from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM in the Milford VFW Harley Sanford Post on 1 VFW Way, Milford, NH, off of Mont Vernon Street, Milford, NH.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Paul can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at www.woundedwarriorproject.org the website will provide a phone number and a mailing address if you prefer to donate through either.
