Olive L. Smith

Olive L. Smith, 86, resident of Milford, NH, died October 27, 2008 at her home.� She was born in Salem, MA on October 5, 1922, a daughter of the late Willis & Mary E. (Tyrrell) Quimby.� Mrs. Smith resided in Milford for more than 20 years and previously lived in Westford, MA for many years.� She was a member of the Eastern Star in Westford, MA.� In addition, she enjoyed music, art and dancing.� A loving mother and devoted grandmother, she loved spending time with her family.� � She was predeceased by her husband, George C. Smith, who died in 1980.� Family members include a daughter and son-in-law, Corinne C. & Bruce Phillips of Palmetto, FL; two sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne K. & Maria Smith and Bruce L. & Diane Smith, all of Milford, NH; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Willis F. Quimby of Beverly, MA and Earl & Irene Quimby of Danvers, MA.� Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st from 9:00-9:30 am in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH, followed by a memorial service at 9:30 am.� Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Westford, MA.� In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Josephs Adult Day Care Program, c/o Resource Development, 172 Kinsley Street, Nashua, NH� 03061 or American Diabetes Association, 249 Canal Street, Manchester, NH� 03101.�
