Neil R. Glover

Neil R. Glover, 70, resident of Amherst, NH, passed away on Sept 13, 2025, in the St. Joseph Hospital, Nashua, NH.

Born on December 28, 1954, in Nashua, NH, to the late Stanley E. Glover Sr. and Avis (Ramsdell) Glover. He was the baby of his family. Neil graduated from Milford High School class of 1973. He enjoyed a successful career as a Logger, working for himself. Prior to going on his own he worked in town at Lorden Lumber for several years. He married Michelle Jette of Hudson, NH on June 30, 1979, and together they raised a daughter, Camie Glover. Neil and Michelle later divorced, and Neil met Lisa Gordon and she resided with him.

Neil was known for many things, including his laughter, nicknames for all and an inability to take serious matters seriously, always littering in jokes and making light of a situation. Although very rough around the edges he did have a good heart in there and if you were privileged enough to get past the prickles, you knew this to be true. In his younger years Neil was an avid Ox puller, covering the living room walls with many, many blue ribbons, trophy’s and even some red ribbons too. His prized Ox Joe was of Babe the Blue Ox stature and his favorite by far. He also enjoyed time up north at his mother’s family’s property in Weld Maine. Neil enjoyed his garden, antiques, random logging equipment he would stumble across, and snowmobiling far north in Maine. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Neil is survived by his daughter Camie Glover and her significant other Greg Balcom of Mont Vernon and Camie’s children, Cole Bernier and Savanna Silva. He is also survived by his companion Lisa Gordon and her children Josh Goudreault of Manchester and his son James, Haley Blanchard of New Boston and her fiancé, Alex Abaid and their children Savannah and Sierra Abaid. His sister-in-law, Sandy Glover, two nieces, Shelly Bishop and her Husband Steve of Milford, NH and Kate Smith and her Husband Neil of Hollis, NH. In addition to his parents, Stanley and Avis, Neil was predeceased by his brother Stanley Jr, better known as Tyke and his sister Deborah Janeiro.
