Mary E. Stewart

Mary E. Stewart, 90, resident of Brookline, NH, died on October 10, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Nashua, NH. She was born in Merrimack, NH on January 4, 1925, a daughter of Edmund and Lucy (Cyr) Silver. Mrs. Stewart made her home in Brookline for more than 60 years. She enjoyed reading, golfing, needlepoint, crocheting and loved vacationing with her family on Prince Edward Island. For many years she was employed by Sanders Associates, Nashua, NH. She was predeceased by two sons, Bruce Stewart and Billy Stewart; four brothers and a sister. Family members include her loving husband of 73 years, Robert W. Stewart of Brookline; a son, Robert E. Stewart and his wife, Mary of Lynnfield, MA; a daughter, Barbara Maylin and her husband, Larry of Brookline, NH; a daughter-in-law, Susan Stewart of Merrimack, NH; 9 Grandchildren; 17 Great Grandchildren; 2 Great-Great Grandchildren; two sisters, Alice Morton and Dot Benjamin, both of Milford, NH; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services are private. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Salvation Army of Nashua, New Hampshire, 1 Montgomery Avenue, Nashua, NH 03060.
