Lorraine Posey, 86, resident of Milford, NH, died December 23, 2007 at Harborside Healthcare Center-Crestwood in Milford. � She was born in Dover, NH on July 27, 1921, a daughter of the late Frank P. & Jennie E. (Mattox) Smith. � Ms. Posey lived in Milford for the past 5 years and formerly resided in Florida for 30 years and the Dover area for many years. � She had been employed as a nurse's aide at Green Pastures Nursing Home in Dover for many years. � Ms. Posey enjoyed sewing.�She attended the Milford United Methodist Church and was a member of The Helping Hands. � Family members include two daughters and sons-in-law, Robert & Patricia (Tebbetts) Levesque of Milford, NH, Wayne & Mary (Tebbetts) Cross of Rochester, NH; 5 Grandchildren; 2 Step Grandchildren; 16 Great Grandchildren; a sister, Rebecca Scarborough of Lawrenceville, VA; many nieces and nephews. � There are no visiting hours.�A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2008 at 2:00 pm in the Milford United Methodist Church, 327 North River Road, Milford, NH.�Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, is in charge of arrangements.�For more information or to sign an online condolence, go to www.smith-heald.com �
