Louise N. Infanti, resident of Bentley Village in Naples Florida, and previously of Milford New Hampshire, died peacefully of natural causes on January 20, 2021. She was 104. Mrs. Infanti was born in Brookline Massachusetts on September 23, 1916 and was the daughter of George D. and Susan (Hartshorn) Hatch of Milford. She was a graduate of Milford High School’s Class of 1934 and attended Keene State College where she obtained her teacher’s degree as well as her master’s degree in Education. Early in her teaching career, she held positions in Rindge and Amherst until finally settling in at the Garden Street School in Milford New Hampshire as an elementary teacher. She thoroughly enjoyed watching young children blossom throughout her 25 years of teaching, and many of her students kept in contact with her throughout her life. Mrs. Infanti was a member of the National Board of Education, the Nashua Retired Teachers Association, and received the Outstanding Elementary Teachers of America award. She was also a member of the First Congregational Church in Milford, a former church choir member, Sunday school teacher, past president of the Laura G. Heald Club, Milford Historical Society member and the Mooreland Century Club member. Her favorite pastimes were crossword puzzles, long walks, enjoying a good hot fudge sundae, and she was an avid reader. She is pre-deceased by her loving husband of 62 years, Mario Infanti, her infant son David G. Infanti, her son, George D. Infanti, and son-in-law Arthur W. Hayward. She is survived by her daughter Marion Hayward of Rotonda, Florida, her daughter-in-law Ruth Milligan Infanti of Amherst, New Hampshire, her son and daughter-in-law James and Kathi Infanti of Mont Vernon, New Hampshire, her grandchildren; Daniel and his wife Melissa Hayward, James Hayward and Nicole Koerner, Christine and her husband Jeffrey Bouschor, Juli and her husband Ryan Noble, David Infanti, Jay Infanti, Jill Infanti-Smith, Arianna and Karly Infanti, and twelve great-grandchildren. A private service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to The First Congregational Church and note “In memory of Louise Infanti” on the memo line.
