Linda T. Cummings

Linda T. Cummings, 67, resident of Amherst, NH, died on September 14, 2018 at the Elliot Hospital, Manchester, NH. She was born in Worcester, MA on March 24, 1951, a daughter of Joseph E. Hebert of Worcester, MA and the late Viola (Glover) Hebert. She was raised and educated in Upton, MA and graduated from Nipmuc Regional High School, Class of 1969. Linda made her home in Amherst for the past 31 years and had formerly lived in Shrewsbury, MA. She attended The Congregational Church of Shrewsbury, MA and Amherst, NH. She had been employed as an office manager for 27 years in the Physical Therapy Clinic at Hampshire Hills, Milford. She and her family shared an interest in Model A Fords, sailing and were long time members of the Masabesic Yacht Club in Auburn, NH. Her greatest love was for her family and spending time with her grandchildren whom she cherished. In addition to her father, family members include her husband of 45 years, Edward S. Cummings III of Amherst; a daughter, Kristine Cummings of Amherst; a son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Theresa Cummings of Mansfield, MA; two grandchildren, Connor and Makayla; and a sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and James Larivee of Auburn, MA. Memorial visiting hours are on Wednesday, September 19th from 5:00-7:00pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 20th at 10:30am in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, Milford. Burial will be in Meadowview Cemetery, Amherst, at a later date.
