Laura M. Wylie, 94, resident of Milford, NH, died on March 10, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Nashua, NH. She was born in Milford on September 6, 1921, a daughter of Clayton and Ethel (Melendy) Burnham and was raised and educated in Wilton, NH. She has made her home in Milford for many years. Mrs. Wylie had been employed by Wilton Press Metals for a number of years and later worked at Scarborough Company. She was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting. She most especially loved spending time with her family and was a loving mother, an exceptionally devoted grandmother and great grandmother. Family members include her daughter and son-in law with whom she made her home, Nancy and Leon Frye of Milford; four grandchildren and their spouses, Stacey and Philip Jepson of Moultonborough, NH, Craig and Wendy Frye of Milford, NH, Scott and Susan Frye of Nashua, NH, Todd and Dawn Frye of Northfield, NH; seven great grandchildren, Tyler Jepson, Brandon and Madelyn Frye, Zachary and Matthew Frye, Nicholas and Jacob Frye; also Grammy Laura to Carolyn and Emily DeBeradinis; a niece, Ethel LaCasse; two nephews, Roy and John LaCasse. Memorial visiting hours will be held on Friday, March 18th from 9:30 am to 11:00 am in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, followed by a memorial service. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Wilton. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Milford Volunteer Ambulance Association, 66 Elm Street, Milford, NH 03055.
