Kathleen "Katie" Whipple

Kathleen “Katie” Whipple, 45, passed away peacefully surrounded by her mother, sister and very close friend, Michael on July 2, 2026.

Katie was born in Manchester, NH, to James and Barbara Whipple. She lived with her parents and sister first in New Boston and moved with them to Mont Vernon. She attended schools in New Boston, Goffstown, and Nashua Community College.

She was a very determined young lady who enjoyed confrontation, always making sure she had the last word. She had an outgoing personality, a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eyes. Katie was willing to help in any way that she could especially offering support.

Katie faced many difficult medical challenges during her lifetime. She was a fighter her whole life, letting nothing get in her way, and was always determined to win the battle. Unfortunately, this last challenge was more than she could handle.

She enjoyed many things, a good book, movies and especially watching wildlife from her window. Family and friends were most important to Katie. She was often the first to send warm wishes on special days.

Katie was predeceased by her father, James in 2016 and is survived by her mother, Barbara and sister, Diane and her beloved friend Michael Coutermarsh. She also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

SERVICES: In accordance with her wishes there will be no calling hours or funeral held. Burial will be in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Mont Vernon, NH, privately.

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Katie can be made to a charity on one’s choice.
