Julie J. Hauser

Julie J. (Peahl) Hauser, 55, a longtime resident of Amherst, NH, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2025, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

She was born on August 24, 1969, in Oklahoma City, OK, a beloved daughter of Charles and Elaine (Wiskus) Peahl of which she idolized their love and commitment to each other for many years. Julie will be remembered as a woman full of love, light, and unwavering dedication to her family and friends. Her warmth, positivity, and thoughtfulness touched the lives of many. Julie had a natural ability to connect with people and always made others feel welcome and supported. She was a devoted mother, wife, sister, aunt, and friend who never hesitated to put others first. She was always present at her children’s games and activities, cheering them on with pride and joy. Julie had a unique ability to bring happiness and comfort wherever she went, always creating a space for those who needed it most. Her legacy lives on in the kindness she showed, the lessons she taught, and the unconditional love she gave so freely.

Julie worked for many years as a travel agent prior to working as a full time mom; her favorite job of all. When her boys went off to school she had a fulfilling career with 15+ years at Xerox in Nashua, NH. She ended her career as a sales support manager, using the things she was naturally good at to her advantage: listening, caring, solving problems, and always bringing a good attitude. These attributes won her many awards for her success within the company. She was widely recognized as a smart, hard working, and empathetic individual.

She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, always surrounded by close friends and family. She enjoyed outdoor activities like paddle boarding, snow shoeing, walking her dog Barry, gardening, and boating with her family. She enjoyed spending countless holidays and gatherings with the Hauser Family at the lake as she was not only a sister in law, but was considered another sister, good friend and close neighbor. She loved rides on the boat which was named after her: Family Jules, both known for their beauty. She served as a master navigator, interpreting many different maps of the lakes region, calmly and safely directing her family through rough and rocky waters.

Julie is survived by her husband of 27 years, Christopher Hauser of Amherst, NH; her sons Ryan and Mitchell Hauser; her parents, Charles and Elaine Peahl, her siblings and their spouses Lisa (Peahl)Zupan and Kyle, Chris Peahl and Kathy, Maria (Peahl)Graham and Glenn; and Eric Peahl; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
