John O. Condon, 78, resident of Brookline, NH, died March 14, 2008 at the Community Hospice House, Merrimack, NH.�He was born in Stoneham, MA on September 22, 1929, a son of the late John H. Condon & Florence (Oldfield) Condon Sears.�He attended Dartmouth College and Boston University.�Mr. Condon lived in Brookline for the past 13 years and formerly resided in Montpelier, VT for 40 years.�For 30 years, Mr. Condon had been employed as an insurance adjuster for Vermont Mutual Insurance Company.�He was a life member of the Elk Lodge, #924, Montpelier, VT, a member of the Vermont Fieldmens Association and was Past Commodore of the Royal Savage Yacht Club.�Mr. Condon enjoyed camping, golfing and boating.� In his earlier years, he was an avid skier.�He was a U.S. Air Force veteran having served in the Korean Conflict.� Mr. Condon was a member of the American Legion and a life member of the Disabled American Veterans.�He was a loving husband, a devoted father and grandfather.�Family members include his wife of 52 years, Nanette W. (Foss) Condon of Brookline, NH; a daughter, Laurie A. LePine of Wilton, NH; a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas W. & Pamela Condon of New Boston, NH; four grandchildren, Kristin Condon, John Thomas Condon, Lindsay Parise and Kaitlin Parise; a sister and brother-in-law, Martha & Sam Coulbourn of Rockport, MA; many nieces and nephews.� ������There are no visiting hours.� A private graveside service with military honors will be held in Meadowview Cemetery, Amherst, NH, in the spring.� In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Community Hospice House, 210 Naticook Road, Merrimack, NH� 03054 or Breathe New Hampshire (formerly American Lung Association of New Hampshire), 9 Cedarwood Drive, Unit #12, Bedford, NH� 03110. �Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, is handling arrangements
