John H. Goulding, Sr., 83, resident of Brookline, NH, died September 12, 2008 at the Veterans Hospital in West Roxbury, MA.� He was born in Westfield, VT on October 15, 1924, a son of the late Glenis W. & Harriet A. (Wright) Goulding.� Prior to moving to Brookline, NH 42 years ago, he resided in Westfield, VT and had worked for United Farmers Creamery, Troy, VT for 24 years.� He later was employed as a machinist for the O.K. Tool Company, Milford, NH, for 20 years and retired from Kerk Motion Products, Hollis, NH, in 1989.� Mr. Goulding enjoyed cooking and was well known in the area for his homemade donuts.� He loved working in his yard and took pride in his ability to fix and repair most anything in his home.� In his younger years, he also enjoyed fishing and hunting.� He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, having served aboard the U.S.S. Tennessee.� Mr. Goulding was a member of the Colonial Hills Baptist Church, Milford.� Family members include his wife of 59 years, Irene G. (Touseau) Goulding of Brookline, NH; three sons and daughters-in-law, John H. Goulding, Jr. and his wife, Jeannette of Greenville, NH, Peter G. & Susan Goulding of Stuart, FL, Bill J. & Debra Goulding of Myrtle Beach, SC; six daughters and sons-in-law, Lois B. Smith, Deborah A. & Brian Byrd, Judy L. & Randy Wood, Dena S. & Brian Garceau, Amy I. & Thomas C. Perkins, all of Milford, NH, Darla J. & Peter Griffin of Nashua, NH; 20 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; three sisters, Polly A. Gibeault and Gertrude M. Place, both of Westfield, VT, Bessie R. Brown of Derby, VT; many nieces and nephews.�������� Visiting hours are Tuesday, September 16th from 5:00-8:00 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH.� Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 am in the Colonial Hills Baptist Church, 54 Melendy Road, Milford, NH.� Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Brookline, NH.� Donations in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA� 01701 or Colonial Hills Baptist Church, 54 Melendy Road, Milford, NH� 03055.�
