Jean-Paul Provencher, 58, resident of Milford, NH, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 8, 2011 at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH. Jean Paul was born in Victoriaville, Quebec, Canada on February 18, 1953, a son of Leo Paul and Marie Rose (Parenteau) Provencher. He left his beloved home at a very young age in pursuit of work. He moved to the United States settling in Leominster, MA, where he married and began what became a very successful concrete construction business, Northeast Foundations, in 1976. His hard work and dedication to excellence in his field was very well known and respected in MA, VT and NH. He will be very sadly missed by his family, friends and business associates. Family members include his two sons, Nathan T. Provencher and wife, Alicia R. Paoletti and Phillip J. Provencher and girlfriend, Jesi Lee Watson; his parents, Leo-Paul and Marie-Rose Provencher of St. Rosaire, Quebec, Canada; eight siblings, all of Quebec, Canada, Gaston Provencher, Joycelyn Maillett, Richard Provencher, Daniel Provencher, Gisele, Lise, Susan Provencher, Bruce Provencher; many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by one brother, Yvon Provencher who passed in 1979. Visiting hours are Thursday, May 12th from 6:00-8:00 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 14th at 11:00 am in St. Cecilia Church, Leominster, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Catholic Medical Center-New England Heart Institute, Attn: Philanthropy Department, 100 McGregor Street, Manchester, NH 03102.
