JEAN C. BLANCHARD � DATELINE:�MILFORD, NH � Jean C. Blanchard, 93, resident of Milford, NH, died December 6, 2007 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Nashua, NH. � She was born in Orleans, Vermont on August 10, 1914, a daughter of the late John B. & Mary (Dodge) Colton. � Mrs. Blanchard lived in Milford for the past 48 years and formerly resided in Auburn, Maine for several years. � She had been employed as a bookkeeper for the former Souhegan National Bank in Milford for 17 years. � Mrs. Blanchard enjoyed traveling and playing cards.��� She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Milford, UCC and Puritan Charity Themis Atlantic Chapter #29, Order of Eastern Star. � She was predeceased by her husband, Winston E. Wink Blanchard, who died in 1992. � Family members include two daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra & Robert Courage, Linda & John Ferguson, all of Milford; 3 Grandchildren, John Palmer III and his wife, Kathryn, of Fredericksburg, VA, Sarah Ruffell of Merrimack, NH, Bryan Palmer and his wife, Christine, of West Palm Beach, FL; 5 Great Grandchildren; 2 brothers-in-law and 2 sisters-in-law, James Blanchard of Chicago, IL, Jack & Phyllis Blanchard of Danville, VT, Dorothy Blanchard of Albuquerque, NM; many nieces and nephews. � There are no visiting hours.�A graveside service will be held in the spring in Pleasant View Cemetery, Orleans, VT.�In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the First Congregational Church, P.O. Box 188, Milford, NH� 03055.� Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, is in charge of arrangements.�
