Janusz A. “James” Tomaszewski, 57, longtime resident of Brookline, NH, died unexpectedly at his home on September 16, 2018. He was born in London, England on June 30, 1961, a son of Jadwiga (Jankowski) Tomaszewski of Nashua, NH and the late Ryszard Tomaszewski. He graduated from Nashua High School in 1979 and attended Keene State College. James made his home in Brookline since 1993. He had been employed as a printer/manager for Minute Man Press Company in Nashua and had also worked at DM Printing and Currier Printing in Hudson, NH and was also employed by the Hollis Brookline School System. James served as a valued member of the Nashua Kiwanis Club and Hollis-Brookline Rotary Club as well as a frequent volunteer at charitable events. In addition, he volunteered as the scale master for twenty years at the annual Bassathon Charity Fishing Tournament. James was an avid fisherman, New England Patriots fan and enjoyed history. He will be remembered as a loving son, a devoted brother, uncle and loyal friend. Family members include his mother, Jadwiga Tomaszewski; a brother, Roman Tomaszewski; and a nephew, Zenon Tomaszewski, all of Nashua, NH; an uncle, Edward Jankowski of England; and several cousins. There are no visiting hours. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, October 20th at 11:00am in Parish of the Resurrection Church, 449 Broad Street, Nashua, NH. Burial will be in Saint Stanislaus Cemetery, Nashua, NH at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to any cause your heart desires.
