Retired Army Sgt. First Class, Howard F. Kellogg, 78, resident of Marlow, NH, died February 20, 2008 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH.�He was born in Scottsville, New York on October 20, 1929, a son of the late Howard & Anna (Cook) Kellogg.�Mr. Kellogg resided in Marlow for the past 7 years and formerly lived in Sebastian, FL for 5 years and Pepperell, MA for many years.�He was a veteran of the Korean War and Vietnam and served in the U.S. Army for 22 years, until his retirement in the early 1970s.� After his retirement, he worked as a mechanic for Wilsons Sunoco and UPS.�An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing horseshoes.� In addition, he loved woodworking, working on cars, reading and playing cribbage.�He was predeceased by his wife, June A. (Brodeur) Kellogg who died in 2004.�Family members include a son and daughter-in-law, Keith & Ruth Ellen Kellogg of Hill, NH; three daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberley & John Woods of Milford, NH, Karen & Brian Bordeau of Sanbornton, NH and Karla Kellogg of Marlow, NH; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.� Services are private.� Burial with military honors will be in the NH Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH.� In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Breathe New Hampshire, 9 Cedarwood Drive, Unit #12, Bedford, NH� 03110.� Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, is handling arrangements.���
