Gladys L. Benoit

Gladys L. Benoit, 85, resident of Hollis, NH, died on August 11, 2018 at the Community Hospice House, Merrimack, NH. She was born on May 19, 1933 in Somerville, MA, the daughter of Donald and Caroline (Boutlier) Pelton. Gladys had been a resident of Hollis for over fifty years, and had been employed at Hardy Farms in Hollis. Gladys was an avid bingo player, she loved the outdoors and you would often find her tending to her gardens or being out on the lake. In addition, she enjoyed camping and had a special fondness for animals. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Albert R. Benoit, Jr.; two sons, Raymond Benoit and Randy Benoit; and a daughter, Lori Benwa. Gladys is survived by her three daughters, Barbara Hill of Milford, NH, Mary Gelinas of Weare, NH and Lisa Farmer of Lyndeborough, NH; eighteen grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 15th at 1:00pm in North Cemetery, Silver Lake Road, Hollis, NH.
