Gillyan C. Cunningham

Gillyan C. Cunningham, 86, longtime resident of Mont Vernon, NH, died on August 4, 2023 at the Sullivan County Nursing Home after a period of declining health.

She was born on July 29, 1937 in London, England.

Gillyan was married to the late Robert B. Cunningham who predeceased her in 2022. They lived for many years in Mont Vernon and both worked for many years at Nashua Motor Express, Robert as a driver and Gillyan as a Dispatcher.

When Gillyan wasn’t working she enjoyed traveling, gardening, reading, watching the wildlife from her back window.  She especially loved her weekly visits from deer, turkeys and even bear!

Survivors include a nephew and many neighbors who helped care for her over the years.

SERVICES: Graveside services for Gillyan will be held on August 31, 2023 at 2:00 PM in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Mont Vernon, NH. All are invited to meet directly at the cemetery.
