George W. "Bill" Felton

George W. “Bill” Felton, 60, longtime resident of Milford, NH, died October 9, 2011 at his home. He was born in Nashua, NH on August 23, 1951, a son of George E. and Rachel (Lemay) Felton. Bill was raised and educated in Nashua, NH and graduated from NH Technical Institute, Nashua. He was employed as a technician for Fair Point Communications for more than 25 years. Bill loved animals and volunteered much of his time at the Humane Society for the past 20 years. He enjoyed camping, going hot air ballooning, was an avid reader and member of Book Crossing. He served in the New Hampshire National Guard for four years. He was predeceased by a daughter, Jessica Felton. Family members include his wife, Katherine G. (Christ) Felton of Milford; a daughter, R. Corinne Felton of Stamford, CT; and a son, Jacob L. Felton of Milford; a sister and brother-in-law, Lillian Y. and James Shaw of Melbourne, FL; three nieces and their husbands, Jennifer and Jeff Linden, Tamara and Brian Davidson, Amanda and Trevor Lewis; several great nieces and great nephews. It was Bill’s wishes that there be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Nashua, 24 Ferry Road, Nashua, NH 03064.
