GAIL F. AVENI � DATELINE:�MILFORD, NH � Gail (Fiedler) Aveni, 62, resident of Milford, died Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, surrounded by her daughter and son-in-law, after a period of declining health. � She was born in San Rafael, CA on December 14, 1944, a daughter of the late Lt. Col. Albert H. and Jean (Morrison) Fiedler. � She met her future husband, Ronald L. Aveni of Milford at Langley Air Force Base, VA, where he was stationed at the time.�They married and moved to New Hampshire where she lived for more than 40 years. � Mrs. Aveni was a Licensed Practical Nurse and did private duty nursing. � She enjoyed reading, board games and was active with her husband in the Jaycees.�In her earlier years, she provided childcare for babies of young working mothers. � She was a loving wife, a devoted mother and grandmother. � In addition to her husband of 43 years, family members include her daughter and son-in-law, Christine & Dennis Flanders of Merrimack, NH; two grandchildren, Sydney and Colby Flanders, both of Merrimack; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Thomas & Suzanne Fiedler of Miami, FL, J. Michael Fiedler of Albuquerque, NM; a sister and brother-in-law, Mary Lee Fiedler-Milam and Edward Milam of Altamonte Springs, FL; her mother-in-law, Loretta Aveni of Milford; several nieces and nephews. � Memorial visiting hours are Thursday evening, September 27th from 5-8 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford.�A memorial service will be held Friday at 10:00 am in St. Patrick's Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford.�In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 360 Route 101, Unit #5, Bedford, NH�03110.�Smith & Heald Funeral Home, Milford, is in charge of arrangements.
