Fred L. Bent, Sr.

Fred L. Bent, Sr., 52, resident of Jaffrey, NH, died August 27, 2008 at Monadnock Community Hospital, Peterborough, NH.� He was born in Nashua, NH on May 10, 1956, a son of Arthur F. Bent, Jr. and Agnes J. (Ayers) Bent.� Mr. Bent was a graduate of Hollis Brookline High School, Class of 1974.� He resided in Jaffrey for the past two years and formerly lived in Groton, MA, and Brookline, NH for many years.� Mr. Bent owned and operated Freds Towing, Brookline, NH.� He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed restoring classic cars.� In addition to his parents of Brookline, family members include his longtime companion, Monique Dunton of Jaffrey, NH; three children, Fred L. Bent, Jr. of Milford, NH, Danny Bent and Shelby I. Bent, both of Jaffrey, NH; a brother and sister-in-law, Danny & Gina Bent of Brookline, NH; a niece, Nicole R. Bent; three step children, Breandon Surprenant of Peterborough, NH, Michael Dunton and Justin Dunton, both of Jaffrey, NH; many aunts, uncles and cousins.� There are no visiting hours.� A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 30th at 2:00 pm in Pine Grove Cemetery, Pepperell Road, Brookline, NH.� In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the American Bladder Cancer Society, P.O. Box 163, Dalton, MA �01226.�
