Frances E. Flanders

Frances E. Flanders, 76, resident of Milford, NH, died May 13, 2009 at St. Joseph Hospital, Nashua, NH. She was born in Bar Harbor, Maine on September 4, 1932, a daughter of the late Stowe & Winifred (Perry) Gatchell. Mrs. Flanders resided in Milford for more than 50 years. She was employed by Wal-Mart in Amherst, NH for the past 15 years and had previously worked at Violette�s IGA, Milford for 29 years. Mrs. Flanders enjoyed knitting and ceramics and most especially spending time with her family. She was a loving mother, a devoted grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Flanders was predeceased by her husband, Douglas W. Flanders, Sr., who died in 1991. Family members include a daughter, Mary Rackliff and her husband, Brian of Litchfield, NH; a son, Douglas W. Flanders, Jr. and his wife, Donna of Merrimack, NH; four grandchildren, Heather Caron and her husband, Michael, Domenic Flanders, Kelly Siagel, Douglas W. Flanders III; and six great grandchildren. Visiting hours are Friday, May 15th from 4:00-8:00 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 am in the funeral Home.
