Frances E. Combs

Frances E. Combs (née Sargent), of Nashua, New Hampshire, died on April 7, 2026, at the age of 81.

Born in Nashua on March 28, 1945, Fran was raised in Milford and graduated from Milford High School with the Class of 1963. She worked for several years with Enright & Lizzote before becoming Clerk of the Nashua District Court. She finished her career in various roles in sales. Fran retired in 2009 and threw her heart into caring for her dogs and volunteering. She enthusiastically gave her time to Beaver Brook Association, Broad Street School, and the Aviation Museum of NH, and most recently served on the Coburn Woods Board of Directors.

She is survived by her son, Matthew Combs (Leanne); her grandson, Harrison Bourassa-Combs; her sister, Judy Hale (Peter); nephews Andrew Hale (Lynne) and Jared Hale (Dyan); and her beloved grandniece and grandnephews.

A celebration of life will be held later this year.
