Essie L. Simpson

Essie L. Simpson, 94, resident of Lyndeborough, NH, died June 10, 2008 at Harborside Healthcare Center-Milford.� She was born in Portage, Maine on October 21, 1913, a daughter of the late Amos & Anna (LaFerriere) Pinette.� Mrs. Simpson resided in Lyndeborough since 1937.� She had been employed by Hillsboro Mills, Wilton, for 20 years, N.H. Ball Bearing Company in Peterborough, NH for several years and later was self-employed as a nurses aide and as a housekeeper.� Mrs. Simpson was a member of the Good News Bible Church, Wilton for more than 36 years.� She was a loving mother, a devoted grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother.� She was predeceased by her husband of 73 years, Carroll C. Simpson, who died in 2007; and two grandchildren, Anthony Simpson and Morreen Simpson.� Family members include two sons, Oren L. Simpson of Milford, NH, Kenneth C. Simpson of Lyndeborough, NH; a daughter, Caroline J. McQuade of Lyndeborough, NH; 12 Grandchildren; 25 Great Grandchildren 7 Great-Great Grandchildren; a sister, Marion Hathaway of Rye, NH; several nieces and nephews.� Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 13th at 11:30 am in the Good News Bible Church, 27 Hutchinson Road, Wilton, NH.� Burial will be in South Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Lyndeborough.� In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Good News Bible Church Building Fund, 27 Hutchinson Road, Wilton, NH� 03086.�
