Ernest H. Bjork

Ernest H. Bjork, 88, resident of Amherst, NH, died July 15, 2008 at St. Josephs Hospital, Nashua, NH.� He was born in Milford, NH on January 29, 1920, a son of the late Ernest L. & Edith C. (Sorvo) Bjork.� Mr. Bjork was raised and educated in Milford and was a lifelong resident of Milford and Amherst.� He had been employed as a machinist for Abbot Machine Company, Wilton, NH, Williams & Hussey Machine Company, Milford, NH and Fab-Braze Corporation, Nashua, NH.� Mr. Bjork enjoyed gardening, spending time at his camp on Franklin Pierce Lake in Antrim and his beloved dog, Archie.� He was a U.S. Army Air Corp veteran of World War II and served in the Pacific Theater.� Mr. Bjork was predeceased by his wife, Lois L. (Priestley) Bjork and a grandson, Geoff Bjork.� Family members include two sons, Ernest H. Bjork, Jr. of San Diego, CA, Lars E. Bjork of Newton, NH; two daughters, Kristen L. Rossi of Weare, NH and Ingrid P. Locher of Lempster, NH; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.� Funeral services are private.� Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Milford.� In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Share Program, c/o St. Patricks Church, P.O.
