Emmagene Riccitelli

Emmagene “Jean” Riccitelli, 91, resident of Amherst, died peacefully on January 13, 2014 at her home. She was born in Manchester, NH on December 21, 1922, a daughter of Leroy and Mabelle (Korkas) Tuttle. Jean was raised and educated in Wilton and lived most of her life in Milford and Amherst. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading, gardening, canning, sewing, working on puzzles and cooking. In addition, she spent many years as a caregiver. Jean loved her home on Dream Lake and especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Melio J. Riccitelli, who died in 2001; her daughter, Mary and her daughter-in-law, Lyn Riccitelli. Family members include her son, Michael J. Riccitelli of Amherst; a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia A. and Thomas Tsoumas of Canton, MA; three grandchildren, Tammy Tsoumas, Troy Tsoumas, Jeff Sickler and his wife, Karen; five great grandchildren; and a brother, Leroy Tuttle. Memorial visiting hours are on Thursday, January 16th from 5:00-7:00 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford.
