Emelienne "Emmy" G. Hill

Emelienne "Emmy" G. Hill, 70, lifelong resident of Wilton, NH, died December 20, 2008 at Kindred Hospital, Waltham, MA.� She was born in Milford, NH on December 10, 1938, a daughter of the late William & Emelienne (Bergeron) Gibbons.� Emmy was a graduate of Mount St. Mary Seminary, Nashua, NH and also graduated from beauty school in Nashua, NH.� She had worked as a hairdresser in Wilton for several years and prior to her retirement, she was employed by New England Telephone Company for more than 25 years.� Emmy loved animals and was devoted to the many cats and dogs she had over the years.� In addition, she enjoyed traveling to Europe, especially Ireland.� She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church, Wilton.� She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Hill and a brother, Paul Gibbons.� Family members include three brothers, William Gibbons of Canaan, NH, Henry Gibbons of Milford, NH, Philip Gibbons of Gallatin, TN; many nieces, nephews, cousins and an aunt.� Calling hours are Friday, December 26th from 5-8 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH.� A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 am in Sacred Heart Church, 47 Maple Street, Wilton, NH.� Burial will be in Mt.
