Elizabeth E. Osborne

Elizabeth E. Osborne, 86, resident of Milford, NH, died September 8, 2008 at her home surrounded by her family.� She was born in Concord, NH on May 17, 1922, a daughter of the late Frank E. & Helen E. (Sullivan) Woods.� Mrs. Osborne resided in Milford for more than 60 years.� She had worked on the Oval at Stickneys Dry Goods and Darlings Gift Shop for over 35 years.� Mrs. Osborne enjoyed gardening, knitting, reading, and was a wonderful cook.� In addition, she loved the ocean and camped at York Beach for many years. � She was a member of the "Couples Club", a card group that met regularly in Milford.� She also volunteered for the Share Program.� Mrs. Osborne was a member and Past President of Harley Sanford Post #4368 VFW Auxiliary, Milford.� She was a communicant of St. Patricks Church, Milford.� Mrs. Osborne was predeceased by her husband, Ryley M. Osborne; her daughter, Linda Dean; and four brothers.� Family members include a son and daughter-in-law, David L. & Mary Osborne of Chaska, MN; a daughter, Judith E. Osborne of Milford, NH; two grandchildren, Lisa Dean and Michael Dean; one great grandchild, Savannah Hurst; a sister, Constance Wescott of Concord, NH; several nieces, nephews, cousins, adopted grandchildren and adopted great grandchildren.���� Calling hours are Wednesday, September 10th from 6:00-8:00 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH.� A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11:00 am in St. Patricks Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford.� Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Milford.� In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Share Program, P.O.
