Edward "Ted" G. Conrad, 74, longtime resident of Wilton, NH,  died on May 3, 2026 in Milford, NH. He was born and raised in Wilton, NH. Ted graduated from Wilton High School - Class of 1969. After graduation, Ted enlisted in the U.S. Navy and proudly served his country until he was honorably discharged in 1973. He spent his entire working career in the aggregate industry having recently worked for Leighton A. White, Inc. in Milford.

Ted showed us what unconditional love truly looks like. He passed away unexpectedly, and it is hard to imagine a world without him in it. But even in grief, we keep coming back to the incredible life he lived and the quiet sacrifices he made for the people he loved.

When Ted met Doreen Gibbons, they were both in their early twenties. He had just returned from the Navy and was ready to begin building his future. Our grandmother, Doreen, already had three little boys, all under the age of six, and without hesitation, Ted stepped into a life many people would have been too afraid to take on.

Ted became a husband, a friend, and a father figure with grace, patience, and compassion. He never treated those boys as anything less than his own.

He worked hard, sacrificed often, and gave everything he had to the family he chose to love. That is who Ted was — someone who understood that love is not conditional.

He taught us that loving people selflessly requires sacrifice, commitment, and showing up every single day, even when no one notices.

Ted did not need grand gestures to leave a lasting impact. His life spoke for itself. Through the way he cared for his family, supported the people around him, and loved Doreen so deeply, he showed all of us what real devotion looks like. And of course, he also taught us one very important truth: Toby Keith was the greatest of all time.

The loss of my Ted leaves an emptiness that cannot be replaced, but his lessons, his love, and the example he set will stay with me forever. We are endlessly grateful to have known him, loved him, and learned from him. He may be gone from this world, but the life he built and the love he gave will continue through every person he touched.

Ted was pre deceased by his Mother, Father, Sister, & loving Wife.

He is survived by his step sons, Jason Bausha and partner Theresa, Mark Bausha, & Daniel Bausha and wife Kara, along with his grandchildren Kayla, Jason Jr, Joshua, Adriana, Alexia , Jonathan, Lauren, and great grandchildren, Aria & Kamiyah.

For everything there is a season… a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance.” — Ecclesiastes 3:1,4
