Edgar A. Whitney, Jr.

Edgar A. Whitney, Jr., 73, died May 8, 2008 at Harborside Healthcare Center-Crestwood in Milford �He was born in Brookline, NH on June 23, 1934, a son of Edna (Hall) Whitney and the late Edgar A. Whitney, Sr.� Mr. Whitney was a lifelong resident of Wilton.� He graduated from Wilton High School, Class of 1953.� He had been employed by Souhegan Wood Products, Wilton, NH for many years.� Mr. Whitney enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to fairs.� He was predeceased by a sister, Irene Johnson.� In addition to his mother of Wilton, NH, family members include his sister, Marion Mochrie of Wilton, NH; three brothers, Richard Whitney, Donald Whitney and Ernest Whitney, all of Wilton; a cousin, David Hall of Wilton, NH; many nieces and nephews; an aunt and two uncles, Alice & Francis Boutwell of Lyndeborough, NH, Harold Whitney of Maine.� There are no visiting hours.� A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 12th at 11:00 am in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Abbott Hill Road, Wilton, NH.� In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Wilton-Lyndeborough-Temple Ambulance Service, P.O. Box 584, Wilton, NH� 03086.��
