Donna M. Lees

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donna Lees, age 65, of Milford, NH, who passed away peacefully on August 6, 2025.

Donna was the beloved wife of Roberto Velasquez and the devoted mother of Michael Sloane, Laura Sloane, and Thomas Sloane. She was the cherished daughter of Robert Lees and is also survived by her loving siblings Robert Lees, Russell Lees, Wayne Lees, Alice Rinderer, and Ralph Lees. Donna was a proud and adoring grandmother to her beloved grandchildren, who brought her endless joy and pride.

Born and raised in Somerville, MA, Donna brought warmth, laughter, and kindness to all who knew her. She will be remembered for her funky free spirit, loving nature, and the many lives she touched.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass in her honor on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 399 Medford Street, Somerville, MA. A Celebration of Life will follow in Hollis, NH.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Donna’s memory to Massachusetts General Hospital Corrigan Minehan Heart Center.
