Donald F. Vlahos

Donald Vlahos, 58, of Mont Vernon, New Hampshire, passed away unexpectedly at his home on March 29, 2026.

Don was born in Groton, Massachusetts, and spent much of his life in Nashua, New Hampshire, where he attended Nashua High School. He built a strong work ethic throughout his life, working primarily as a truck driver for companies such as Pepsi, Coke, and The Granite Group, and also holding positions as a construction project manager. Additionally, he became the owner of Don’s Home Essentials, a handyman business, where he took great pride in helping others and working with his hands.

Don had a deep love for cars, especially Mustangs, and was a longtime member of the New Hampshire Mustang Club. He also enjoyed traveling and creating lasting memories along the way. He had an eye for art and began collecting pieces.

He leaves behind his wife of 31 years, Dagmar Vlahos; his son, Owen Vlahos of Mont Vernon, NH; and his daughter, Erica Vlahos of Salem, NH. He is also survived by his mother, Joan Blaise, and stepfather, Leo Blaise of Calais, ME; his brother, Ben Moulton of Georgia; his brother, Joshua Vlahos of Nashua, NH; his brother- and sister-in-law, Scott and Heike Martineau of Gilford, NH; his brother- and sister-in-law, Domenic and Patti Steinbrueck of Bedford, NH; as well as step-sisters and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Don was predeceased by his father, Dennis Moulton of Groton, MA.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Don’s life on Thursday, April 16, 2026, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Boys & Girls Club in Milford, NH. A private burial for immediate family will take place on April 17 in Groton, MA.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a mental health or suicide prevention organization of your choosing, in honor of Don’s memory.
