Donald F. Frank

Donald F. Frank, 79, resident of Milford, NH, died Monday, November 24, 2008 at Harborside Healthcare Center-Milford.� He was born in Nashua, NH on July 9, 1929, a son of the late Charles & Ella (Whyte) Frank.� Mr. Frank was raised and educated in Nashua, NH and resided in Milford for many years. �A self-employed hairstylist, he owned and operated several salons in the Nashua area for 49 years.� Mr. Frank was a member and past president of Young Businessmens Association, active in the Boys & Girls Club, a diving instructor at the YMCA and a member of the Kiwanis Club, all of Nashua.� � He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing.� In addition, he was very artistic and enjoyed painting, sculpting, woodworking and carving.� He was a life member of the Harley Sanford Post #4368, VFW, Milford and a member of the Ricciardi Hartshorn Post #23, American Legion, Milford.� Mr. Frank was a World War II veteran having served in the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Army.� He was a communicant of St. Patricks Church, Milford.� Family members include a son and daughter-in-law, Kurt & Judy Frank of Milford, NH; two daughters and sons-in-law, Karla & Leo Lessard, Katrina & Jim Rancourt, all of Milford, NH; six grandchildren, Shannon Frank, Lindsay Knowlton, Ashley Knowlton, Andrew Knowlton, Zachary Rancourt, Damien Rancourt; one great grandchild, Briana Frank; a brother, Earl Frank of Lacy, WA; a sister, Muriel Smith of Haverhill, MA; several nieces and nephews.���� Memorial visiting hours are Monday, December 1st from 4-7 pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH.� Burial will be in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, at a later date.� Donations in his memory may be made to the Share Program, P.O.
