Dionetta M. Gagnon, 56, resident of Brookline, NH, passed away on May 25th, 2025 at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, MA after a long and hard fought battle with cancer. She passed on surrounded by her loving family.
Dionetta was born on March 6th, 1969, in Columbia, MO, a daughter of Lawrence Baughn and Cynthia (Strand) Kloss.
She was predeceased by her brother, James Baughn. Dionetta is survived by her loving husband Richard Gagnon of Brookline, NH, her two children, Cody Gagnon and Angelee Newell, her grandson, Ryan Newell, four sisters, Angela Flanders, Samantha Lalik, Stephanie Baughn and Tiffany Irving, two brothers, Scott Baughn and Anthony Baughn and many nieces and nephews.
Being a military child Dionetta was raised in many different places around the United States. She graduated from High School at Highland High School in Albuquerque, NM. Dionetta started college at the University of New Mexico and finished and received her Bachelor of Arts from Southern New Hampshire University.
Dionetta loved to spend the warmer months skydiving primarily at Skydive Pepperell. She enjoyed cooking and during cancer treatment she spent her days watching cooking shows and crocheting baby blankets for a pregnancy care center and made 85 blankets from December 2023 to May 2025.
SERVICES: Calling hours will be held on Monday, June 2, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the Crossway Christian Church, 419 Elm Street, Milford, NH. A funeral service will follow the visiting hours at 12:00 PM. Burial will take place in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Brookline, NH. There will be a celebration of life held at Crossway Christian Church following the burial.
