Diane E. Hoffman

Diane E. Hoffman, 77, resident of Milford, NH, died on Saturday, January 10, 2026, surrounded by family, in the Southern NH Medical Center, Nashua.

She was born on September 21, 1948, in Newport, NH, a daughter of the late Arvo and Mabel (Hunter) Wirkkala.

Diane was raised and educated in Newport, NH. She met and married Richard C. Hoffman and together have made their home in Milford for many years. She worked for over thirty years as a typesetter for the Milford Cabinet Press, where she made many friends over the years.

She was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church of Milford for many years.

Diane enjoyed time spent reading, watching football, being outside in her yard and being amongst her family.

Survivors include her husband, Richard Hoffman of Milford, NH, her two sons, Scott and his wife Gina Whipple of Weare, NH, Chris Hoffman of Amherst, NH, two brothers, Kenneth Wirkkala and his children and Thomas Wirkkala.

SERVICES: In accordance with her wish’s services will be held privately for her family.
