Dawn Lorraine (Welch) (Reeves) Lothrop 78, a resident of Mont Vernon since 1962, died on June 16, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Nashua, NH. She was born on January 25, 1941 in Malden, MA, a daughter of the late Charles Lewis and Mary Leona (Comeau) Lothrop. She crafted home goods through rug braiding, knitting, sewing, canning and freezing her produce, cheese making, and butter churning. She also enjoyed researching and updating her family tree, and happily made contact with and met many relatives. Ms. Lothrop was predeceased by her son, Shawn L. Welch (1959), and sister, Lorna Maude Goodrich (2001). She is survived by her three children Howard T. Welch Jr. of Mont Vernon, Mark E. Welch of New Boston, and Patricia Welch Bush of Hillsborough, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Diane and Robert Thoms of Concord, brother Charles L. and Diane Lothrop of Nashua, and several nieces and nephews.
