Daniel M. Stearns, Sr.

Daniel M. Stearns, Sr., 47, resident of Berlin, NH, died unexpectedly on October 16, 2018 at his home. He was born in Brighton, MA on August 14, 1971, a son of Joseph W. Stearns and the late Linda (Grover) Stearns. He was raised and educated in Sharon, MA. Daniel made his home in Berlin for the past year and formerly lived in Canton, MA for many years. He had been employed as a mechanical designer engineer at Panametrics, Waltham, MA for more than 15 years. He could fix anything and enjoyed working on cars and cooking. He was a very giving person with a kind heart and would go out of his way to help friends, family or strangers. He most especially loved vacationing with his family in Maine and having his vegetable garden. He will be greatly missed. Family members include his father, Joseph and Karen Stearns; a son, Daniel M. Stearns, Jr. of Las Vegas, NV; sister and brother-in-law, Tamara and Peter Kucmas of New Boston, NH; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Timothy and Laurie Stearns of New Boston, NH, Jason Stearns of Lowell, MA and brother, Edward Boudreau of Clinton, IA; two nieces and seven nephews; and his former wife, Teresa Kamlot of Las Vegas, NV. A memorial visiting hour will be held on Thursday, October 25th, 2018 from 1:00-2:00pm with a memorial service to follow at 2:00pm in the Smith & Heald Funeral Home, 63 Elm Street, Milford, NH. Burial will be in New Boston Cemetery, New Boston, NH.
