Connor M. Chareth, 31, a longtime resident of Amherst, NH, passed away on December 15, 2025, at Hartford Hospital, Hartford CT, from an aggressive blood infection after a courageous weeklong fight. Connor was surrounded by his loving family, holding his hand as he entered eternal rest.
He was born on April 24, 1994, in Manchester, NH to his parents, Marc and Julie (Corcoran) Chareth.
Connor was raised and educated in Amherst, NH graduating from Souhegan High School, Class of 2013.
He worked for years in the construction industry in the New Hampshire and Connecticut Carpenters Unions. His work ethic was exceptional, and his employers always thought the world of him, consistently putting him in leadership positions.
Connor loved cruising the coast in his Mustang convertible with the top down on a sunny day. He loved the ocean and spending time at the beach. He loved sports and wrestled on the varsity team at Souhegan High School. He loved Boston sports teams and was especially strong picking March Madness winners. He was passionate about the gym and lifting weights. He cared deeply about eating healthy and he loved to cook and bake. He loved his German Shepherds. His favorites, Zoe and Zane, greeted him at the Rainbow Bridge.
Some of Connor's more cherished memories were made gathering with his family from an early age on Bailey Island, Maine where he spent meaningful time surrounded by love, laughter, and togetherness. Those moments became a lasting part of who he was and remain deeply treasured by his family. He cared deeply for his family and friends, and his presence left a lasting impression on all who crossed his path.
Connor's final journey was an Honor Walk as he choose to give the gift of life. Doctors and Nurses lined the hallways of Hartford Hospital as he was wheeled with his family from the intensive care unit to the operating room, to pay tribute to Connor for the sacrifice he was about to make. He is at peace now and his struggle is over. His family loved him very much and always will.
Survivors include his loving and devoted parents, Marc and Julie Chareth of Amherst, NH, his sister Erica Chareth of Boston, MA, his brother, Matthew Chareth of Portsmouth, NH, his grandfather David Chareth of Amesbury, MA and many aunts, uncles, and cousins from all over New England.
SERVICES: In accordance with the families wishes, a private funeral will be held in January.
